Katie is kindly going to lead us through some of her cosmetics must-haves this week for the Beauty Collaboration Corner!
My first beauty fave would have to be the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation…

A cult favourite, Healthy Mix is a great affordable foundation that suits any skin type. Available in 8 shades – it has a good mixture of pink and yellow tones. It is hydrating and blurring giving the skin a completely flawless finish. It doesn’t cling to dry patches or emphasise pores. I have been using this foundation for years and every time I come back to it I fall in love all over again. I find for best results you should apply with a damp sponge. It never disappoints!
2. MAC Mineralise Skin Finish

This powder is great to set any foundation and add extra coverage. It comes in a variety of shades to suit all skin tones and a little goes a long way! It is on the more expensive side however it lasts a really long time so it is value for money. There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t use this product. It’s also great for keeping in your handbag and touching up throughout the day.
3. Maybelline Colossal Black Mascara

Out of all the mascaras I have tried and tested this Maybelline mascara is by far one of the best in the market. It is waterproof, great for those of us who are emotional wrecks, and super black. It does not clump or flack and leaves your lashes looking full and separated. And it is extremely affordable costing approximately €9.
4. Smashbox Photo Finish Primers

For me, primer is a key step in any makeup application as it allows makeup to apply and blend super easy and effortless. I find it also prolongs makeup and is essential for events such as weddings. My favourite primers are the Smashbox photo finish. They come in a great range to suit any skin type. For dry skin there’s the hydrating one. Oily skin – the matte one. They have anti redness and pore filling primers so there is something for everyone. An overall great range of products. Trust me, once you try them you’ll notice a difference!
5. L’Oreal Fixing Mist

Much like primer, setting spray is a key component to prolonging your makeup. The MAC Fix+ was my favourite setting spray until I discovered this L’Oreal product for a fraction of the price! It is so refreshing and smells amazing and does the job of setting all your makeup in place. It is also a great product to use to refresh makeup after a long period. I love this product, it’s incredible!
6. MAC Velvet Teddy Lipstick

The last product I’m going to mention is my all time favourite lipstick – Velvet Teddy by MAC. It is the perfect nude that suits all skin tones, beautiful, especially on tanned skin. It has a matte formula and a beige undertone making it very wearable and in my opinion would be a great colour for your wedding day. Paired with MAC Whirl Lipliner you have the ultimate nude ‘Kylie Jenner’ lip.

The Littlest Polkadot would like to extend a huge then you to Katie for taking time out of her busy schedule to collaborate with us to pass on some of her favourite products to beauty lovers everywhere.
